This is what our house looks like after two feet of snow has landed on our place! They say it hasn’t dumped this much snow in October for over 12 years. And I love it! Of course the love also has to do with the fact that I didn’t have to go out in the snow to or from work, as I have been working at home. Below are a few more images of trees covered with snow and of our house.

The girls (M, L, & C) and I decided to take advantage of all this white fluff and go sledding. The pictures are from my phone, so they are a little lacking.

They were all pretty tired after trudging down to the park and sledding for 1/2 an hour. I didn’t want to drive for fear that I would get stuck. While we were walking, we passed 3-4 foot drifts, which caused us to abandon the sidewalk and walk on the road. The girls were very curious whether this constituted an actual blizzard or not. I told them it was a pretty good snow storm, but they didn’t think it counted.
Our neighbor had brought down his kids to go sledding, and graciously offered to ferry us back to our house when we were ready to go home.
All in all, a good time! What is amazing is that we are supposed to have a high of 64 degrees tomorrow. I love Colorado!
